Third World Large Foundation

The Third World Large Foundation was previously held in 2009 in Beijing and in 2011 in Chongqing. The China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD) under the State Council Information office of China, and the Information office of Jiangsu Provincial Government co-organised the Third World Large Foundation from 24th September to 26th September in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The theme for the forum was Responsibility, Innovation and Cooperation, which focused on the following topics:

  1. The functions, roles and responsibilities of foundations of different countries in promoting social development of their respective countries, especially in the field of human rights progress.

  1. Developmental experiences and innovational practices of foundations of different countries.

  1. Ways and means to strengthen international cooperation among foundations of different countries.

Insika Foundation had the pleasure of participating in this ground-breaking forum and looks forward to engaging with the Third World Large Foundation in events of this nature in the future.
